What Is Laser Tattoo Removal?
Laser tattoo removal uses an Nd:YAG laser to break down the ink particles sitting in the skin. Over a course of sessions, your body naturally clears the fragmented pigment, gradually fading the tattoo. The same technology is also used to remove unwanted semi-permanent makeup and permanent makeup, including eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip blush that clients no longer want or wish to have corrected.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?
This varies from person to person and depends on factors such as the colour, depth, and density of the ink. Most clients need several sessions to see full results, spaced at least 3 months apart to give your skin time to heal and your body time to clear the treated pigment between appointments. We'll give you a realistic, personalised estimate at your consultation once we've assessed your tattoo.
Is It Right For Me?
Laser tattoo removal is suitable for anyone wanting to remove or fade an unwanted tattoo, SPMU, or PMU. Because everyone's skin and ink respond differently, a thorough consultation and patch test are required before any treatment. This allows us to fully review your medical history and current medications, check your skin integrity, and confirm the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
You may not be suitable for treatment, or may need to wait, if you:
- Are pregnant
- Currently have tanned skin
- Have recently returned from a sunny holiday
If any of these apply, let us know at consultation so we can advise on timing.
